Imagine workshops
I absolutely love to give music, drama, dance and rhythm workshops and seminars for children, youth, choirs, students and teachers all over the world – as of May 2024 a total of 1600 singers representing 56 nations have attended my Imagine workshops. I’ve had 66 Imagine workshops in 32 countries, on 6 continents:

The history or Imagine World Tour workshops and videos:
In 2016 my family was on a half-year world tour. Me and my daughters gave 23 workshops all around the world, all of them on a voluntary, non-profit basis. In most workshops I asked the participants of the workshop to sing a part of John Lennon's song Imagine and my daughters videotaped each part. When we returned home, my friend John Bryan compiled all the clips and uploaded them on YouTube as two separate videos.
Since giving Imagine workshops was so much fun, and as so many people wanted to attend my Imagine workshops, I decided to go on with my Imagine World Tour project. Vol 2 was finished in 2018, Vol 3 in 2020 and Vol 4 in 2023. Vol 5 is now in process, so far (by October 2023) I have taped Imagine in my workshops in Malta and Finland and with an all-European choir. By October 2023 I have given about 50 Imagine workshops.

Imagine workshop lasts for 60-120 minutes

Ideal size of the participants: 15-50 people

Ideal age of participants 10-80 years

We need a quite, silent place for Imagine workshop, otherwise the noise can prevent us from videotaping. The workshop can also be held outdoors, if the surrounding area is not noisy. It'd be good to have benches or choir stands for the participants especially, if the group is big

Ability to sing: participants don´t need to be very good singers, but I hope that the participants are able to keep the rhythm and can follow the melody in most parts

It makes the taping much quicker, if the participants have heard John Lennon´s version of Imagine at least a couple of times

It's good, if the participants have sang Imagine already before the workshop, but it´s not obligatory; I can also teach the song from scratch, if needed (in that case the workshop is a bit longer)

In each Imagine workshops the participants will sing one verse and one chorus of the song. I will tell a long time before the workshop, which verse and chorus the group will sing

The participants of the workshop don't have to learn the lyrics by heart, as I will bring big papers where I've written the lyrics of the song

It would be good, if the participants of the workshop can speak or at least understand English, but it's not compulsory; for example in Cambodia and Brazil the participants sang Imagine even as they didn't understand English

I will bring a backup tape of Imagine on my computer as well as on a memory stick and CD, and I can also send it by email to the organizers of the workshop in advance

I bring a small bluetooth speaker with me, but it'd be good, if the organizers of the workshop could bring a bigger speaker for the workshop

I will tape Imagine with my iphone. I will send the taping to the organizers of the workshop afterwards so that they can check it before it will be put on Youtube to be part of the Imagine World Tour Vol 5 video

Imagine workshops are part of my personal charity project, so I always give them for free, no money involved :). My wish is to change the world to be more equal, free and love-filled through my Imagine workshops. <3
